Focus and Scope

FRAGMENT: Frontiers in E-Learning Development is a quarterly, open-access, double-anonymised refereed title issued by Pub Academy. It welcomes studies and conceptual analyses on e-learning, distance and open education, ICT in teaching, and adjacent work in learning media, prioritising inquiry rooted in courses. The journal invites practitioners, university staff, scholars, and postgraduate writers to submit short research reports, full-length articles, and reflective, theoretically framed pedagogic interventions. Submissions must demonstrate an explicit theory to practice connection and be situated in authentic learning environments, including tutor-led projects and rigorously evaluated innovations.

The scope of the journal includes, but is not limited to, the following areas:

  • Distance education design and open learning models
  • ICT integration for teaching and facilitation
  • Online learning strategies and self-regulation research
  • Media, resources, and platforms
  • Innovative systems for assessment, feedback, and support
  • Digital content creation and instructional design methods
  • Learning analytics with pedagogical implications
  • Effective technology use across disciplines and accessibility contexts
