Focus and Scope

PRICE: Periodical Review of Economics and Business is focusing on multidisciplinary scholarship in economics, business, accounting, and economic education. It publishes original quantitative and qualitative studies, alongside rigorous conceptual, theoretical, and critical reviews, that address microeconomics, macroeconomics, development and behavioural economics, and public policy. Business coverage includes entrepreneurship and SMEs, leadership and human resource management, marketing, strategy and operations, innovation and technology, and international trade and finance. Accounting coverage spans financial, managerial, public sector, sharia, auditing and forensic work, taxation, corporate governance, sustainability and environmental reporting, banking and insurance, capital markets and investments, accounting information systems, intellectual capital, and ethics and professionalism. Education papers examine teaching models, curriculum, assessment, and learning outcomes in economics and business in Indonesian and international contexts.

The scope of the journal includes, but is not limited to, the following areas:

  • Economics research: microeconomics, macroeconomics, behavioural economics, and development studies.
  • Public policy and economic governance, including development policy and regulation impacts.
  • Business and management: leadership, HRM, strategy, operations, and performance management.
  • Entrepreneurship and business development, including SMEs and emerging economy contexts.
  • Finance and markets: corporate finance, banking, insurance, capital markets, investments, and derivatives.
  • Accounting fields: financial, managerial, public sector, sharia, taxation, auditing, and forensic accounting.
  • Accounting systems and reporting: AIS, data analytics/Industry 4.0, sustainability, environmental and social reporting, intellectual capital, and governance.
  • Economics, business, and accounting education: pedagogy, teaching models, curriculum, assessment, ethics, and learning outcomes.

Publication Frequency

PRICE is published four times a year in January, April, July and October.

Journal History

PRICE: Periodical Review of Economics and Business has been published regularly by Pub Academy on a quarterly basis since 2026.

Article Processing Charges

There are no fees for submission, peer review or publication. Authors and readers pay no charges at any stage of the process.
